Before your actual exam would start, you will be given a time of 25 seconds to prepare and a time limit of 30 seconds to 'speak' your introduction.

The Personal Introduction Task

The personal introduction task is presented to you at the very beginning of the exam. You have 25 seconds to prepare your response. The response time is 30 seconds. You can only record your answer once through the microphone.

Not Scored

This task is not scored. That shouldn't stop you from doing the best in the task. Why? Because it is sent to universities and other institutions with the PTE scorecard . It's a golden chance to make a good impression on universities.
